Core Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for Veeam customers, ranging from small businesses to large enterprises.
- Manage escalations and troubleshooting between vendors and clients.
- Assist with design verification processes.
- Perform installations and upgrades of Veeam solutions.
- Monitor the operational health of Veeam environments.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience with Veeam.
- 8 years of experience with Windows.
- 5 years of experience with Linux/Unix.
- 5 years of experience with virtual environments and hypervisors.
- Experience with CommVault, SAN (switches/arrays), networking, and cloud backups (S3) is advantageous.
- Ideal candidates will have a total of 10 years in a similar role.
Qualifications:
- Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE).
- Proficient in Windows OS (any version).
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix (any flavor) is advantageous.
- Minimum NQF 4 (Matric); NQF 5 or higher is preferred.
- Valid Code 8 driver’s license and reliable transport.
- Stable internet connection at home.
