Reputable HR and Industrial Relations Consultancy with over 12 years’ experience is seeking a dynamic and experienced IR Consultant to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified legal professional with a strong background in labour law and industrial relations to make a real impact.
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualification: LLB Degree (essential)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in Industrial Relations
- Strong knowledge of South African labour law, CCMA processes, and Bargaining Council matters
- Proven ability in legal drafting, with focus on Labour, Commercial & Contracts Law
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle (essential, as travel to clients will be required)
- Proven track record of IR consulting
Key Responsibilities:
- Rendering comprehensive IR services to clients, including disciplinary hearings, grievance procedures, incapacity processes, and CCMA/Bargaining Council representation
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, agreements, disciplinary documents, and legal correspondence
- Advising management and clients on labour law compliance and best practice in employee relations
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Assisting in business development
